Hindu Wedding Day

Muhurtham (Hindu Wedding Ceremony)
5:30 - 6:30 PM
Grande Sala
The Muhurtham is the heart of the wedding day, the sacred ceremony where the bride and groom officially become husband and wife through a series of meaningful rituals conducted around a holy fire (Agni). The fire acts as a divine witness to the vows taken and is central to many of the rites performed. The couple performs the Saptapadi or “seven steps,” where they circle the fire seven times, each round representing a promise they make to each other for a harmonious life. This ceremony is deeply spiritual and traditionally solemn, filled with reverence for the sacred union being formed.
We kindly request that guests refrain from wearing red saris to the Muhurtham.
